Irish Whiskey Smash vs. American Whiskey Cider
Do you prefer honey or mint with your whiskey? That’s the question your guests will have to decide once they try these two cocktails. The classic smash combines a citrusy flavor with a hint of sweetness while the Honey Whiskey Cider is a true taste of the South with a bold honey sweetness.
1) Irish Whiskey Smash
8 Mint, fresh leaves
2 tsp Agave nectar or simple syrup, light

Place the mint leaves, lime wedges, and agave in the bottom of a cocktail shaker or Mason jar and muddle just enough to release juices and oils. Add the whiskey and top with a small handful of crushed ice. Cover and shake vigorously for 30 seconds to combine. Transfer to an old-fashioned or similar glass. Pile more crushed ice on top. Garnish with additional mint sprigs.
2) Honey Whiskey Cider
