It’s patio drinking season, and there’s nothing like enjoying the nice weather and spending some time outside with your family and friends. Dust off your patio furniture and enjoy a cold, refreshing cocktail while you bask in the beautiful spring weather. Here is a list of some of the best cocktails to enjoy on a warm spring afternoon. Vodka Pink Lemonade Slushies

INGREDIENTS
1/3 cup of vodka
1 cup pink lemonade
5 lemons, cut in halves
2 cups ice
Mint

DIRECTIONS
First, use a spoon to scoop out the inside of the lemons leaving the peel intact. Next, combine the vodka, pink lemonade, and ice in a blender to form a slush-like mixture. Using an ice cream scoop, place this mixture inside the lemons and garnish with a sprig of mint.

Peach Mojito

INGREDIENTS
1/2 oz. white rum
Juice from ½ lime
1 small peach, peeled and cut in chunks
1 tsp. sugar
Mint leaves
Club soda

DIRECTIONS
Begin by muddling the peach chunks, mint leaves, lime juice, and sugar in a glass. Next, add the rum and stir well to combine. Fill a highball glass with ice, add the peach mixture, and top with club soda. Use the peaches, lime, and mint leaves to garnish.

Tequila Honeysuckles

INGREDIENTS
2 oz. blanco tequila
3/4 oz. honey syrup
3/4 oz. lime juice
Lime

INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all the ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a coupe and garnish with a lime wedge.

Pink Grapefruit Whiskey Sours


INGREDIENTS
1 cup whiskey
3 pink grapefruits
2 tbsp. sugar
¾ cup fresh lemon juice

DIRECTIONS
Start by grating the grapefruit to yield 1 tsp. of zest. Mix the zest with 1 tbsp. of sugar in a plate. Next, cut the zested grapefruit in half and slice 1 thin round from the center of the fruit. Then, cut it into quarters and put to the side for garnish. Run one of the remaining wedges around the rim of a short glass and dip the glass in the grapefruit sugar mix. Next, squeeze 1 cup of juice from the other grapefruit in a large glass. Stir in the whiskey, lemon juice, and remaining 2 tbsp. sugar. Finally, fill the glasses with ice and add the whiskey mixture. Garnish with the grapefruit quarters.
